Boutique Hotel Sint Jacob is located in a quiet side street of the Vrijthof, in the Jekerkwartier. This historic part of town, bordering both the inner city and the city gardens, is named after the small river Jeker, which runs through it and ends in the river Maas. Typical for this part of town are the art and antique stores, the interior and design boutiques, the many culinary and gourmet shops with artisanal local dishes, and the special pubs and fine restaurants. From here one can reach the tourist attractions and great sights of the city in just mere minutes.
After extensive renovations Boutique Hotel Sint Jacob opened its doors once again in April 2014. The monumental character of the hotel, filled with old ornaments, has been left completely intact. The splendid stained glass windows are also left untouched, as are the original chimneys and fireplaces. The old monumental doors now serve as the headboards of the beds.
The hotel, furnished in the style of the building, is equipped with all modern facilities, including the lovely bathrooms (with bath and/or shower), the luxury beds and flat screen televisions. In addition, the open breakfast kitchen, the comfy living room, and atmospheric garden will give you a pleasant, homely feeling.
